Long Island Buddy Pair Spends Day with Tiki Barber

Nick, Chapter President of William Floyd High School Best Buddies chapter says:
"Matthew has changed my life in so many ways that I cannot even begin to explain. Not only do I consider him a best friend, I consider him a brother.
Best Buddies has allowed me to grow and learn as a human being through Matthew, and I must thank the organization for introducing me to someone who has changed my life forever.
Although Matthew and I have been to many exciting events through Best Buddies, by far the coolest was our trip to the city for a personal tour of NBC Studios and lunch with Tiki Barber, former running-back for the New York Giants.
The day was fantastic. It began with an in-depth tour [of the studio], where we saw where shows such as Saturday Night Live taped. When we were finished we went on to the superb restaurant located right in the NBC building for lunch and great conversation with our host for the day, Tiki.
Tiki was very welcoming with his warm, down to earth demeanor. He truly is a hero in my eyes. None of this amazing day could have happened without the Sexton family.
They were the ones at the BBI Hampton Gala who bought the tickets for the day with Tiki and then shared them with us. After that day the Sextons will always have a place in Matthew's and my heart forever.
Best Buddies means the world to me and I can't wait to see its affects on the world as I grow older. The organization shows us that we are all people and we all deserve to be treated as equals no matter what disabilities we may have.
Best Buddies shows us to love each other for what we are, not what we are not. That is why I am proud to be a Best Buddies Chapter President. Thank You Best Buddies!"
